As part of our expansion plans, we are launching a new support facility in Kochi, Kerala India.
Farscan is looking for energetic talent to fill the following technical, marketing and administrative role for  new Kochi Office.
iPhone / Android Developer
Responsibilities include:

• Design, Develop & Test standalone mobile applications for iPhone & Android OS based smartphones and Tablet devices such as the iPAD and Xoom.

• Build & Manage mobile-OS friendly front-end interfaces for complex web applications

• Teleconference with clients & US team to discuss design options and functionality.

Requirements for the iPhone / Android Developer position include:

• 3-4 years’ Experience of Experience with C/C++ and/or Java

• Expertise in iPhone / Android development, including implementing applications with standard iPhone / Android UI components, creating custom UI components, connecting applications to back end services
• At least an year of experience with:
  • iPhone OS Development: X-Code, Cocoa Touch, iPhone SDK, Objective C, OR
  • Android OS Development: Eclipse, Linux/Java, Froyo/Gingerbread Android SDKs
• Experience in advanced Object oriented JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, JSON, HTML/XHTML, JSPs, Servlets, Custom Tag libraries
• Master at problem solving and relentless in pursuit of exceptional performance in coding.
• Practical knowledge of software development life cycle
• Strong written and oral English communication skills
• Aptitude with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT, etc.)
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
